Long before the App Stores and algorithm-chasing bundles, I spent my days mopping floors and prepping tubes in a small tattoo studio in Sweden. Every night after work, I’d go home and study the craft — painting flash by hand, experimenting with sketching, oils, acrylics, and my favorite: watercolor. I bought a set of Dr. Ph. Martin’s, picked up some fresh brushes from the local shop, put on music, and painted for hours. No shortcuts. No downloads. Just practice, patience, and passion.

After 15 years as an artist, everything changed. A sudden heart condition nearly ended my life. With my heart working at just 5–10%, doctors saved me with an emergency aortic valve replacement. The recovery was long, and getting back to art — to myself — was harder than I imagined.

In 2017, I bought an iPad Pro and started drawing in Procreate. This flash kit was one of the first bundles I built when I joined Etsy around 2020–2021.
